Analysis of mood board for glamor magazine
The demographics profile for the main target audience for glamour magazine is a female between the ages 20 and 35. Depending on the where they are between the age range will determine whether they are single, married or divorced, most of the 20 year olds would most likely be single. They would live in a city such as London where it is busy and evolves a lot around fashion, therefore there would be a lot of events like fashion shows available for them to go to. Most of the target audience social class would be b and c1 which is lower middle class and middle class. As the magazine is quite expensive and a lot of the products sold inside are designer, which means people that buy it must have more than average money to spend. They may work in an office and may be working their way up the ladder even make it to management in a job that is well paid.
Psychographic readers for this magazine would most probably be aspirers, who want a luxury lifestyle as the magazine is all about luxury products. Some of the target audience may be succeeds as the magazine is quite expensive so most rich women would buy it as it appeals to them and is easy for them to buy. The car they may drive may be a mini cooper as its small for women and is average priced car, they would maybe live in an apartment as its more luxury than a flat.
Their lifestyle subsets would probably be yuppies or dinks. There hobbies may include fashion shows as a lot of the magazine is about clothes, and make up. They may go take a holiday to Paris, the fashion capital. They would listen to girl bands such as the Saturdays and watch modelling programmes such as Americas next top model. They would shop in shops where clothes are quite expensive such as Jane Norman and lipsy, where they can afford the clothes and are very fashionable.
