Title ENCORE- I selected this name as it has positive connotations especially after a performance it means the audience liked them and want to see more its also about concerts so i thought it was a good suitable name for the magazine.
Costumes and props- for the front cover i didnt really use any props but we used make up for the model to look more prosentable for the magazine also for the pictures for the contents page we used glitter and little pink props to go with the colour code for the contents page.
Images- In the front cover image there is alot of attutide the way she is making eye contact with the readers, the shot is quite close up but works with the cover. Just from looking at the front cover you can see the target audience age which would be round late teens and early twentys.
Contents page- The contents page has one main picture and two smaller ones underneath it has breifs quotes from the pages and articles also there is a little picture in the top left hand corner which i think is a good use of the image. There is a blue long box down the left hand side and has all the information for whats in the magazine and the page numbers.
Genre- the genre of music for my magazine is hip hop and R&B i chose this genre as i enjoy that type of music and know alot about artists that sing that type of genre. I also read a few magazines that did the same genre of music and they were really good as they appealed to me more as i like there music that they are talking about this is another reason why i chose the type of genre that i did.
House style- All of the above fit all together as a house theme mostly because the font is the same on most pages and the language of writting is the same throughout the magazine. The cover of the magazine i think is very appealing to the audience that i was planning to target. I think there is a gap in the market for a magazine like mine even though there are magaiznes similar like billboard asnd vibe magazine i think mine has an extra something as inside the magaizne we talk about things that are not in the other magaiznes so i think its very unique.

These are a couple of the magazines that i got some of my inspiration from you can see the remblence not just by the images and the layout but also the language they use is the same sort of "slang" that i use in my magaizne. Also the genre of music is the same i wanted my magaizne to be about hip hop and R&B and these two magazines have that as on the covers are lil wayne who is a big R&B artist same as ciara she is a huge hip hop artist. I have got my colours from these magazines aswell.

Background- the background of the feature article is white the colours used are black and red which i think works really well together there are gutters on the sides of the colums. There are no qoutes on the feature article.
Main image- The main image is on the right hand page and is a quite large inmage of the same model on the front cover.
setting line- The setting line is underneath the title and is a breif description of whats in the article as thats what people read first so that will encourage them to read it.

Masthead- this is on the left hand side of the page with a little space and the right hand side and the font is Prestige Elite Std which I think best suited my front cover and my magazine also the audience of the magazine will appreciate that font more. The colour of the font is a baby pink which stands out nicely on the brown background which is mainly why I chose it.
Dateline- this is on the right hand side of the page and is quite a small font but still enough for people to see what the date is, the font is in yellow as it stands out on the brown background and goes very well with the other colours on my page which are pink and white. The font is the same font as the title so that they go well together it is a monthly issue therefore the price is quite a lot.
Selling Line- the selling line I have placed above the title which is very easy for readers to read. I know that a lot of selling lines are underneath the title but after I saw a magazine with it on top of the title and that’s how I got the idea. The colour is pink and yellow which goes very well with the title and the font is different so it stands out.
Main image- The main image is centred in the middle of the page she’s looking directly into the camera so is making eye contact and that connection with the with the reader. The feeling she gives off is that she has a little bit of attitude which the readers will like and will want to read her
article.
model credit- the model credit is on the left hand side quite big so that the reader will know who is the front cover model.
Main cover line is in the bottom left and is about long
lost ablums and the artists that it invovles also i have on the front cover and in the centre of the page information about the feature article which will encourage people to buy the magazine.
