Institutional Data "Music magazine"

I chose to do an overview of NME magazine and find out its Institutional data. Key facts i have found were that the cost of the weekly magazine is £2.20, its circulation is 56,284 and readership is 411,000. NME has been going since 1952. Its target audience is mostly males at 73% with women at a small percentage of 27% and the NME average age is 25. Their social class is ABC1 which is upper middle class, middle class and lower middle class. The target market on a whole is men 17-30. NME states readers are "techno savvy" that 72% of readers have internet connection at home but 93% own their own computer, it has even more information about their target audience saying that 67% of readers have brought something online in the last 12 month. It also states 34% of readers are working full time showing they have a safe income to buy the magazine. 77% of NME readers have been to at least one festival in 2007. Almost half of all readers have been reading NME for three years and 84% think the magazine gives them what they want spending on average 46 mintues reading each issue.
