Initial ideas for your own music magazine

The magazine that i am doing is a hip hop and R&B magazine. I have chosen the person that i am using for the front cover, by looking at other magazines that have similar qualities i have chosen to do a plain background as most of the magazines i have been looking at have plain backgrounds which i think works pretty well. Also she will be looking straight at the camera it will be a mid shot so mostly you can see her face. It wil only be her on the front cover. Most of the space around her will be filled with information about what is in the magazine and the improtant inforamation that will encourage readers to buy the magazine such as competitions where they can win things that they actually want such as iphones and ipods which people that age in our target audience will want. The colours i am thinking about doing are either purple adn yellow which are contrasting colours or red and black which everyone knows works well together. For the feature article i am thinking about doing an inteview with a well know pop star such as tinie temper or on tinchy strider on his new music video with the other artists that his has put together, this will encourage peopele to buy the magaizne as its things that their interested in. I havent thought about the title yet but i have thought about different fonts to use.
