These are pictures of my college and my music magazine there are many improvements from the college magazine to the music magazine. One improvement is the colours of the front cover on the college one the colours are really bold and the background is just a block colour but in the music magazine the colours are all different and i thought about it more and thought about the colours and the font. The pictures also and more thought out and look more professional such as the background, in the college magazine i have cut the background out and it looks really unprofessional. Where as the music magazine photo that i have used already had a background as i thought about that before i took the picture.Also the font and the set out of both magazines are greatly different but i have made the music magazine more simple but good and has alot of information on and the colours work better. But since creating my magazine i have learnt alot for example how to take one picture and put it on top of another to make a 2 layer picture, when i first started to use photoshop i didn't know anything but i have learn alot form doing my music magazine.


I've also learnt how to download newer more interesting fonts, increasing the visual appeal of my magazine. As well as this, the complexity of my page layout has increased as I've learned how to use layers in Photoshop more effectively. Also to make the magazine more professional and looks much better than the college magazine which is where i started.


Overall my understanding of the software has improved greatly throughout this project because at the start I'd barely used Photoshop and now I have produced a professional looking magazine using it.
